Toledo vs Ball State Preview

10/3/26

The Toledo Rockets are on the road Saturday to open Mid-American Conference play against Ball State, they carry a three-game winning streak and loads of momentum into Muncie following a spectacular 41-16 victory over San Diego State. Quarterback John Richter continues to direct a strong Toledo attack, while wide receiver Bryson Hammer gives the Rockets another explosive weapon on the perimeter. Ball State enters looking to regroup after a 26-13 loss to Kent State, but Toledo has controlled this series recently with four consecutive wins over the Cardinals. With the non-conference slate behind them and the MAC race officially underway, the goal is plain and simple for the Rockets: take care of business on the road, keep the offense rolling and leave Scheumann Stadium with their first conference victory of the season.
