Toledo staves off Bowling Green for the win

Toledo, Oh 1/31/26

                The Toledo Rockets women’s team jumped out to an 18-point lead then held on as Bowling Green battled back to take the 59-49 victory at Savage Arena Saturday. Ella Weaver and Patricia Anumgba paced the Rockets with 15 & 13 points respectively while Faith Fedd-Robinson attacked the glass for 15 rebounds. Bowling Green was led by sophomore Johnea Donahue who had 19 points with 4 steals in the rivalry loss for the Falcons. Toledo out rebounded the Falcons 54-26 which offset them losing the turnover battle 25-15. These teams meet again at BGSU on February 21st.
