Oilers defeat 17th ranked Greyhounds in their season opener
Findlay, OH
The Findlay Oilers used a strong running game to defeat the 17th ranked UIndy Greyhounds at home. Christian Davis ran for 109 yards and a score as Findlay ran for 272 yards. Oiler quarterback Chase Harrison threw for 155 yards and two touchdowns while completing 14-19 passes.
Indianapolis were held to 86 yards rushing on the day by the Findlay defense. Quarterback Gavin Sukup had a solid day, leading the greyhound offense throwing for 255 yards with two touchdowns while adding another on the ground. Cobi Lewis was Sukup’s primary target catching 5 passes for 76 yards and a td.
