Gonzaga edges Toledo

Toledo, OH 11/9/25

                The Toledo Rockets battled in a tightly contested game Sunday afternoon falling to the visiting Gonzaga Bulldogs 72-69. Kendall Carruthers had a team high 15 points as the Rockets fought back from multiple Bulldog runs. Allie Turner and Lauren Whittaker each had 16 points and went 6-6 from the free throw line as the Bulldogs used 17 to 6 free throw shooting advantage to keep the Rockets at bay.
