Ferris State punches their ticket to the National title game

Big Rapids, MI 12/13/2025

                The Ferris State Bulldogs used a dominant running game rushing for 368 yards and a staunch defense forcing 6 turnovers to stay undefeated and advance to defend their national title. Carson Gulker (115 yards) and Jake Price (85 yards & 3 TDs) led the offensive attack that jumped out to a 21-0 lead before Newberry were able to score 17 straight points to make it a contest. Newberry quarterback Reed Charpia threw for 348 yards with a touchdown but, threw 5 interceptions too. Ferris State answered the barrage of points by Newberry with a Gulker to Taariik Brett touchdown pass then converting a fumble by Newberry into another score before the half increasing their lead to 35-17. The Bulldogs final score came in on a Jake Price 13 yard run in the third quarter to reach the final score of 49-17.
